I am happy to introduce myself as the Communications Assistant for the summer of 2022. I was born in Selkirk and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Growing up I always had a love for animals, especially dogs. I was always involved with the Canadian Animal Blood Bank, as my dog was a previous donor! This gave me a desire to help dogs in need. I was directed towards an opportunity for a summer position with CABB and decided to apply, luckily I got the job! During my time working here I gained many useful skills I never knew before. Not only was I taught how to make Social Media posts, Package Shipments, and announce events, I learned how to communicate with the public, asist at Donor Clinics, and so much more! My favourite part of the job was getting to create Social Media posts with all the dogs and assisting at several Donor Clinics. The Canadian Animal Blood Bank has taught me many useful skills that I will be able to use as I continue my Studies at University.
