If you need blood products urgently, please call us.

Our online order form is the easiest way to order blood products and transfusion-related consumables for non-urgent cases. Orders requiring next business day delivery must be received by 2:00 pm CST Monday through Friday to be eligible. Orders received after 2:00 pm CST or on weekends will be processed and shipped the following business day. If product stock is low, non-urgent requests may be placed on backorder. In this instance, an email notifying you of your order status will be sent following your order confirmation.

The Canadian Animal Blood Bank’s Philosophy

The Canadian Animal Blood Bank is a CRA Registered Charity that strives to assist animals and their owners by being a dependable source of life-saving animal blood products. We view you, our clients, as partners in this endeavour and are grateful to those of you who assist by providing your hospitals as sites for blood collection and those who register suitable pets as blood donors. 

When ordering blood products, we ask that you do your part in minimising waste by ordering type-specific red blood cells wherever possible. Collectively, we owe a great deal to the animal caregivers and their dogs who donate. We want to honour their goodwill by encouraging you to use blood products whenever and wherever appropriate and realise that neither the owner nor the CABB benefits financially from these products. Please join us in trying to make these products accessible to as many animals as possible.
