Petland

Since March of 2021, Petland Canada has helped the Canadian Animal Blood Bank to show our appreciation to local pet owners and canine heroes in Winnipeg, Red Deer, Edmonton, and Calgary. From providing gift bags and gift cards to offering support in raising awareness to making the day of a donor and their person, we want to recognize the support you have provided to our organization.

Vetoquinol

Vetoquinol has a long history of supporting the community, and that includes the Canadian Animal Blood Bank. In 2020, Vetoquinol launched a digital campaign, “Clavaspetin Million Pixel Donation”,  in support of our organization and helped us to raise $35,000. These generous donations from both corporate sponsors and participating veterinary clinics allowed us to properly equip two Regional Unit Managers with the supplies they needed to save lives. A million times, thank you.

Rayne Clinical Nutrition Canada

Since 2021, Rayne has been helping to supply CABB Donor Clinics in Western Canada with treats for our local canine heroes. Even with a sensitive stomach or food allergies, Rayne came through to make sure that all donors get to try something extra special after saving lives. After each donation, we ask pet owners why they bring their dog to donate blood with the CABB and the leading answer is because it helps other dogs in need. If we asked canine donors why they donate, we’re 90% sure they would bark, “It’s all for the treats!”

Manitoba Veterinary Medical Association

When you think of the Manitoba Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA), you also think of their long history of supporting the veterinary community and the public by prioritizing the health and welfare of animals, people, and the environment. The MVMA has supported the Canadian Animal Blood Bank since the first donor clinic in 1996. We are incredibly grateful for their support and the countless ways they have helped us to save animals’ lives.
